Experience a night of thrills, spills and nostalgia as the historic Michigan Theater is transformed into the recording stage of the celebrated Tokyo-based animation group Studio Ghibli. The John Williams to Steven Spielberg of the animation world, Joe Hisaishi’s colorful and sprightly scores to Hayao Miyazaki’s Academy Award-nominated films have woven themselves into the fabric of childhood for viewers around the world.

Hear the soundtracks from three of Studio Ghibli’s most widely-acclaimed films: My Neighbor Totoro (1988), Spirited Away (2001), and Howl’s Moving Castle (2004). Fun for anime lovers of all ages!
